Application in Mines  

There are monitoring personnel and an industrial control computer on the ground, which control the sensing devices in the underground measurement section through the 485 bus. Monitoring personnel set the working mode by controlling the industrial control computer, which automatically sends signals to the sensors at regular intervals, and the sensors return the current progress of the tunnel. The industrial control computer stores the data with addresses.  

Monitoring personnel can check the construction progress of underground tunnels through the industrial control computer. The display mode can be direct data display or chart display. The content forms allow:  

– Checking the depth change of a single tunnel within a certain period of time (in both chart and direct data forms), so as to judge the construction progress and when the construction speed is slow;  

– Checking the depth of each tunnel in the current period. The depth indicates the construction progress of each tunnel, which is conducive to work planning.  

Application in Dams  

According to the length of the dam, at least 2 to 6 monitoring sections should be selected. Generally speaking, the monitoring sections should be arranged in places where the dam height and foundation topography and geology change greatly, and laser measuring device should be installed on the top of each section.  

According to the height of the dam, 4 to 6 landslide monitoring points are evenly set from top to bottom of the dam. A fixed point is set 5-10 meters or farther from the slope toe. Then, fixed piles are driven at each monitoring point and fixed point, and the depth is adjusted according to the dam. Laser measuring device should be installed between each fixed pile. The displacement of the whole dam is monitored through the displacement change between the fixed points and the fixed point.
